I am an embedded software engineer with over 15 years of experience building industrial-level embedded Linux-based products. I began my career at Siemens as an Embedded Software Engineer and held multiple positions, including Team Lead and Product Owner, respectively.
During my time at Siemens, I was part of the teams that built Simatic HMI Basic, Mobile, and Comfort Panels, Software Controller (aka WinAC), and the Time-Sensitive Network middleware stack.
Now, as a Field Engineer at Canonical, I’m helping companies unlock the potential of Ubuntu Core and snaps for secure, reliable IoT deployments.
But tech isn’t just my job; it’s my playground. So, I’m starting this blog to share the lessons I’ve learned, the code I’ve wrangled, and maybe even some of the (hopefully helpful) embarrassments I’ve picked up along the way. If you’re an embedded developer curious about the latest Linux trends or just someone fascinated by the tech behind everyday machines, grab a cup of coffee and join me on this bi-weekly tech adventure.
Let’s talk code, troubleshoot together, and see where the circuits take us!
